All change at The Lancet Neurology

There have been a few changes at The Lancet Neurology over the past few months. As the more eagle eyed among you (or at least those who scrutinise the contents page) may have noticed, James Butcher has recently left the journal. After 3 years-and 29 issues-James has moved on to work for a new open-access medical journal, Public Library of Science Medicine, which is due to be launched this autumn. In June 2002, James was grafted in from his position as senior editor on The Lancet to launch The Lancet Neurology, the third of the monthly clinical review journals to be launched by The Lancet group. Since then James has been instrumental in establishing the journal in the competitive world of neurology publishing and building the journal's reputation as a reliable, up-to-date source of review and opinion.
