Synthesis of Isoquinoline Derivatives via Ag-Catalyzed Cyclization of 2-Alkynyl Benzyl Azides

摘要

Ag-catalyzed cyclization of 2-alkynyl benzyl azides offersa novel and efficient method for the synthesis of substitutedisoquinoline. The reaction proceeds smoothly in moderateto good yields and tolerates considerable functional groups.The reaction conditions and the scope of the process areexamined, and a plausible mechanism is proposed.
