摘要

TBAF-assisted N-arylation and benzylation of benzazolessuch as 1H-henzimidazole, 1H-indole, and 1H-benzotriazolewith aryl and benzyl halides have been demonstrated underthe ligand/base/solvent-free conditions. In the presence ofCuBr_2and TBAF (n-Bu_4NF), the azoles underwent N-aryla-tion and benzylation with aryl and benzyl halides smoothly inmoderate to good yields. It is noteworthy that the reaction isconducted under the ligand/base/solvent-free conditions.
