Solid-phase extraction using automated equipment has been applied to different types of wine (red, white, sparkling and rosé) spiked with 16 organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) for their preconcentration. PRPS, Oasis HLB, Hysphere Resin SH, Resin GP, C8 and C18 sorbent cartridges were tested. The separation-detection step was carried out by gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. Changes in both the volume flushed through the sorbent (ranging between 25 and 100 mL) and the volume injected into the chromatograph (1 or 10 μL) allow the detection limits of the method to be adapted to the analytes contents in the target samples. Preconcentrating 100 mL of wine and injecting into the chromatrograph 10 μL of extract, limits of detection obtained for the OPCs range between 1.7 and 9.7 ng L~(-1), depending on the OCP and type of wine.
