摘要

The clerodane-type diterpenoid 5S,8R,9R,10R,12S-15,16-epoxy-3,13(16),14- neoclerodatrien-17,12:18,19diolide was isolated during a chemical study of the aerial part of the terrestrial plant Galatella punctata. Its structure was elucidated using IR, PMR, and ~(13)C NMR spectroscopy. The crystal and molecular structure of this diterpene was determined by an x-ray crystal structure analysis; the absolute configuration, by optical circular dichroism.
