摘要

A simple, fast and sensitive analytical method was developed for speciation of iodine in edible salts and human urine samples by short column ion chromatography coupled with inductively plasma mass spectrometry. Using a commercial anionic column of 50 mm length and 8 mmol L~(-1) of (NH _4)_2CO_3 as the mobile phase, the total separation time was only 170 s, and limits of detection of 0.015 and 0.081 μg L~(-1) for IO_3~- and I~-. Satisfactory relative standard deviations for parallel measurements and linear calibration curves were both obtained. Finally, the method was successfully applied to certified standard reference materials and practical samples analysis.
