Reply to Fu et al.: Efficacy, efficiency and safety aspects of hydrogen peroxide vapour and aerosolized hydrogen peroxide room disinfection systems

I read with great interest the recent article by Fu et al. comparing two surface decontamination processes.1 I agree with the authors about their emphasis on automatic surface decontamination. There are published reports describing the added value of automated area decontamination when combined with conventional manual cleaning. It has also been demonstrated that automatic surface decontamination gives more consistent results compared with operator-dependent, manual surface disinfection with bleach.
