Tuberculosis presenting as liver abscess is not common. We report a case of liver abscess in a immunocompetent adult who did not have evidence of tuberculosis elsewhere in the body. She responded with ATT. Tubercular liver abscess is an uncommon occurrence. Nevertheless one should be aware of this entity when dealing with patients of liver abscess. We report a case of a 25 year immunocompetent adult female who presented with this condition. She was diagnosed by demonstrating AFB in the aspirated pus, put on Anti Tubercular Treatment and responded well to treatment.
