摘要

The entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana (Balsamo) Vuillemin has been developed into formulations for control of pest insects and mites (Feng et al.,1994; Shi and Feng,2004,2006; Wraight et al.,2001).Active ingredients of the formulations are usually aerial conidia that can be readily produced on solid substrates such as rice (Ye et al.,2006).The quality of the formulated conidia is crucial to improved field persistence and efficacy of the formulations.One of the key quality traits is conidial tolerance to upper thermal limits of summer,which often are suppressive or harmful to fungal germination,growth and infection (Rangel et al.,2005).
