摘要

Background: Preoperative narcotic use has been associated with poor outcomes after total joint arthroplasty (TJA). The purpose of this study is to compare clinical outcomes of patients undergoing elective TJA while concurrently being treated with methadone or buprenorphinealoxone for prior heroin addiction to a matched control group.
