Coexistence of Bowenoid papulosis and Bowen's disease in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus

A 57-year-old Japanese woman visited our hospital in April 2007 with multiple nodules in her genital area. She had been suffering from systemic lupus erythematosus (SUE) with nephritis since 1991 when she was 41 years old, and had been treated with 25 mg/day oral prednisolone and 150 mg/day mizoribine. She had noticed the perianal nodules approximately 1 year before. HIV was negative.
