Subconjunctival injection of triamcinolone acetonide in the management of corneal graft rejection and new vessels

Graft rejection still remains one of the major complications of corneal transplantation. Various modalities such as topical steroid drops, topical cyclosporine, and systemic immunosuppression have been used to treat corneal graft rejection.We report a case of graft rejection successfully treated with a single dose of subconjunctival triam-cinolone acetonide (SCTA) and briefly review the use of subconjunctival steroids.
