In the present paper we introduce the notion of fuzzy filters in BE -algebras and establish some of its important proper-ties. We give some equivalent conditions of fuzzy filters, especially prove that in transitive BE -algebras, the notion of fuzzy filters is equivalent to one of fuzzy ideals.
