摘要

Abraham model solute descriptors are calculated for 5-nitro-8-hydroxyquinoline, 2-methyl-6-nitroaniline, and terephthaldialdehyde using experimental solubility data taken from papers published in This Journal in 2016. The calculated solute descriptors are then used to predict the solubility of the three fore-mentioned solutes in 29 different organic solvents of varying polarity and hydrogenbonding character.
