Electrophoretic studies of serum proteins following freezing of tissues

There is evidence of antigen formation and cell death by freezing (Shulamn et al. 1967). Holden, 1972 reported a rise in circulating antibody titres with increased lymphocyte activity following cryodestruction of tumours. The present study reports on the electrophoretic separation of serum proteins after freezing of liver, ovary, bone and bone 'marrow in dogs and interdigital skin hyperplasia in cattle.
