Organophosphorus insecticide poisoning in desi birds : a post-mortem report.

摘要

The postmortem changes observed in organophosphorus insecticide poisoning in 5 desi birds (2 hens and 3 cocks) aged about 6 months to 1 year by accidental ingestion, is presented. Slight ascites, haemorrhages on pericardial fat, oedematous lungs, congested livers, severe congestion of the ovarian follicles and congestion of the mucosa of the proventriculus and intestine, were observed.
