Protein fractionation analysis of indigenous egg drop syndrome '76 viral isolates.

Strains of a haemagglutinating egg drop virus isolated in various parts of Tamil Nadu, India, were examined by SDS-PAGE. Protein analysis of the 5 viral strains showed 13 polypeptides, which were identical to those of the reference strain of the eggdrop syndrome aviadenovirus.
