Acute Mastitis Due to Streptococcus Agalactiae in a Non Descript Cow

摘要

In the present study, a clinical case of acute mastitis due to Streptococcus agalactiae in a non descript cow aged around 4 years in its 2nd lactation is presented. Drug sensitivity pattern of the organism revealed complete resistant to tetracycline,streptomycin and amoxyclav antibiotics while gentamicin was found to be the most effective antibiotic that was later used to treat the animal successfully.
