摘要

The present study describes an indirect immunoperoxidase test (IPT) by using an enzyme Horse Radish Peroxidase (HRPO) for the detection of Duck plague virus (DPV) antigen in liver and spleen tissue samples, IPT detected 85.70 per cent of a total of 35 liver samples and 80 per cent of a total of 30 spleen samples screened for DPV antigen. It is concluded that for the detection of DPV antigen IPT was considered as suitable one, because of its ability to detect high positive cases (83 percent) and less non-specific reactions within 2-3 days time in liver and spleen sections.
