A study was conducted in a 3 x 2 factorial arrangement of three levels of organic selenium (0, 0.1, and 0.2ppm) and two levels of vitamin-E (0 and 300mg/kg) with the objective to determine the effect of organic selenium and vitamin-E on biochemical profile of broiler chickens. Total protein, globulin and HDL cholesterol concentration increased significantly (P<0.01) whereas, A/G ratio and total cholesterol decreased in organic selenium and vitamin-E supplemented treatments. Total cholesterol was obtained minimum in 0.1 ppm with 300 mg/kg supplemented group (T4) while, in the same treatment total protein, globulin and HDL cholesterol were maximum. As the level of organic selenium increased in the diet selenium content of meat significantly (P<0.01) increased.
