Dicephalus Tetrabrachius Sternopagus Tetrapus Dicaudatus Monster Calf in Haryana Cow

A rare case of dystocia in cow due to uncommon conjoined twin monster calf with doubling of external body parts, and lack of duplication of internal organs is described. Conjoined twin monster is an important fetal cause of dystocia in animals. Teratological embryonic development may result in the death or malformation of the antenatal individual resulting in dystocia (Roberts, 1986). Its occurrence is about one in 100,000 bovines, at birth (Arthur, 1956). A rare case of dystocia due to conjoined twin monster with lack of duplication of some internal organs and its successful management through caesarean section are described.
