摘要

One-electron reduction of [Ru(menbpy)(3)](2+) [menbpy = 4,4'- di{(1R,2S,SR)- (-)- menthoxycarbonyl}-2,2'-bipyridine] by pulse radiolysis produces a Ru(II) complex of a menbpy-centered anion radical, which reduces Delta-[Co(acac)(3)] more rapidly than Lambda-[Co(acac)(3)] with an enantioselectivity of 2.7 in 85% EtOH/H2O.
