摘要

To mimic the function of rose petals, we demonstrate a facile nethod to fabricate superhydrophobic surfaces that strongly absorb water droplets, even when the surfaces are inverted. The hydrophilic-hydrophobic hybrid surfaces were made from self-organized honeycomb-patterned porous films (i.e., honeycombs) by a simple casting and peeling process, and they were composed of microscale hydrophilic parasols and hydrophobic nanoscale pillars. The hybrid polymer surfaces gave rise to characteristic wettabilities that combined water repellency with strong adhesion of water droplets of less than 9μL.
