EU to speed up cut in cotton subsidies

The European Union disclosed recenlty that it would push for trading partners to cut or eliminate cotton subsidies earlier than originally proposed as part of a new world trade deal.The EU says it wants the cuts to be made from the first day a deal enters into force.
