27% Rise in visitors at intertextile shanghai

Reflecting the steady growth of China's economy, Intertextile Shanghai 2002 closed with a record number of visitors and exhibitors registered from 9-11 October at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. About 38,086 visitors from 71 countries and regions registered during the three days, a 27% increase from 2001. The total number of exhibitions across the apparel fabrics and home textiles sections of the show was 997, a 46% increase.
