E-LEARNING, STEP FORWARD TO MOBILE LEARNING

摘要

The obvious use of mobile devices for educational purposes is a next evolution of the e-Learning technologies, which gives possibility to use smaller devices, such us mid-range mobile phones, smart phones and communicators instead on desktop environment. The article elaborates the usage of Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS). It is enhancement based on the scenes description language known by Synchronized Multimedia Integrated Language (SMIL) as standard for describing and distribution of sophisticated multimedia content and Packet-Switched Streaming Services (PSS).
