TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for Wireless Communications Systems --- Part 3: Performance in Noise and Interference Limited Situations --- Performance Verification

The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.18 Engineering Committee on Wireless Systems Compatibility -Interference and Coverage has issued a call for interest for document TSB-88.3-D-1 initially titled Wireless Communications Systems --- Part 3: Performance in Noise and Interference Limited Situations — Performance Verification. This addendum will add material relevant to interference received from broadband systems. The interference discussion in the existing document only covers interference from narrow band systems. Given the imminent implementation of broadband systems in frequency bands adjacent to narrow band systems, it is essential that advice on this mode of interference be provided.
