Beer drinking and-brewing have been part of human society for thousands of years. While the ingredients, flavors and beer making process have evolved, beer has remained an enduring part of society and continues to grow in popularity. The increasing number of breweries coupled with the growth of consumer consumption of other alcoholic beverages, such as wine and spirits, is creating fierce competition for beer makers and distributors in the marketplace — making brand and product quality even more crucial to a brewer's success.
