摘要

The concentration of messenger RNA in immature oocytes, mature oocytes and 8-16 cell, morula and blastocyst buffalo embryos was determined in vitro. It was shown that mRNA decreased by 50% from immature to mature oocytes, followed by an increase from zygote to blastocyst stage. It is suggested that mRNA first decreases due to being used for protein synthesis during oocyte maturation. mRNA transcription then increases from cleavage to the blastocyst stage in buffalo embryos.
