LIPOMATOUS BULL DOG CALF MONSTER IN A MURRAH BUFFALO

A monster calf of lipomatous bull dog condition causing dystocia due to absolute feto-maternal disproportion in a Murrah buffalo is reported. Teratological development of ovum may result in the death or malformations of the antinatal individual, resulting in dystocia (Roberts, 1971). Foetal anomalies and monstrosities of various types have been reported in cows (Janna and Ghosh, 2002) and buffaloes (Saini et al., 2010). Present case report deals with oversized lippmatous fetus in a murrah buffalo.
