摘要

In the present study, california bearing ratio (CBR) of subgrade soil has been correlated with mini dynamic cone penetrometer (DCP) test values under identical conditions of test. CBR and Mini DCP tests were conducted for in-situ and saturated conditions of soil at 35 locations covering soils of low to medium compressibility CBR tests were conducted on undisturbed samples taken at 25 cm depth as suggested by IS code and mini DCP tests were also conducted at same level. The analysis of test results indicated a linear relationship between CBR and mini DCP test values for different types of soil. The correlations have also been developed between field and laboratory values of N, the number of blows per 100 mm penetration; and between dry density and CBR.
