Two new thinning machines, a couple of three-row tunnel sprayers, and new developments surrounding the apple picking robot, were the highlights at the recent Dutch Fruit Show, Steven Vale takes a look at the new breed of labour-saving machines, Visitors attending this year's Dutch Fruit Show would not have been disappointed as the 110 exhibitors - a 10% increase on 2007 - provided an ideal opportunity to catch up on the all very latest developments. The Show took place over two days. There was no shortage of tractors, as all the major suppliers were there, and for many it was the first chance to see models from the new Massey Ferguson 3600 and New Holland T4000 series.
