Improving the control of soft fruit pests: Brian Lovelidge reports from the recent EMRA/HDC Soft Fruit Day

Western flowers thrips (WFT) has been a big problem in many protected salad and flower crops for some time, but only over the past few years has it turned its attention to soft fruit. In some cases it has caused considerable economic losses, hence the commissioning by HDC of a project to help improve strawberry growers' control of the pest.
