Self-assembled polysaccharide nanogels with negativeor positive charges were used as templates for mineralizationof calcium phosphate for potential biomedical application.The formation of stable and negatively- or positively-chargedamorphous calcium phosphate nanoparticles was confirmedby transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and -potential measurements.
