Tubercular abscess of the seminal vesicle

A 37 year old man presented with continuous high-grade fever and irritative voiding symptoms. USG suggested a left seminal vesicle abscess with calcification within it. TRUS guided per rectal aspiration was done and pus for AFB staining and culture showed growth of M. tuberculosis. Anti-tubercular therapy cured the condition after aspiration of abscess through transrectal route.
