PANEL DISCUSSION ON RNTCP IMPLEMENTATION - PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Dear delegates, as you know that Tuberculosis Control Programme based on the WHO strategy of DOTS is being implemented in about 200 countries of the world successfully. It is heartening to know that population of the. whole country of India has access to DOTS since 24 March, 2006 (World TB Day). Programme managers in the field face quite a few problems in the implementation of RNTCP, at different levels. This National Conference is the most appropriate platform to discuss these problems. The purpose of this panel discussion is to identify some of these problems, analyze them and to find out their feasible solutions.
