摘要

Object of this paper is to investigate the bending of initially curved circular plate of varying rigidity under the combined action of lateral loads and forces in the middle plane of the plate. The flexural rigidity is assumed to vary as a quadratic function of the radial distance r from the centre of the plate and the symmetrical loading defined by the intensity q in the form of a general quadratic function of r. Corresponding result for rigidity and intensity varying linearly with the radial distance are obtained as a special case which are found to be identical with the previous result.
