摘要

An exact solution of the problem of a two dimensional steady MHD forced convective flow ofa viscous incompressible and electrically conducting fluid between two infinite parallel porous walls of sametemperature with constant pressure gradient in presence of a constant heat source is presented. A uniformmagnetic field is assumed to be applied transversely to the direction of the flow taking into account the inducedmagnetic field. The walls are subjected to constant suction and injection. The expressions for the velocityfield, temperature field, skin friction, induced magnetic field and the coefficient of heat transfer in terms ofNusselt numbers at the walls are obtained and their numerical values are detnonstrated in graphs. The effects ofHartmann number M, the Reynolds number R, the magnetic Reynolds number and heat source parametera on the flow, induced magnetic field and heat transfer are discussed.
