HE Striped legless skink, Typhlosaurus lineatus occurs in the Kalahari region of southern Africa extending from the Northern Cape Province through most of Botswana and adjacent Namibia with isolated races in western Zambia and the Limpopo Province of South Africa (Broadley, 1968).
