摘要

Gene silencing is frequently the technique of choice for successful in vitro drug target validation. However, siRNAs must be highly specific for the genes in question to avoid unintentional silencing of non-target genes. This article describes a set of synthetic siRNAs which have been designed for high-throughput target validation in drug discovery research. The set consists of 10,000 siRNA duplexes designed to identify 5,000 druggable targets.
