Written by the former president of the ACS Development Fund, this is the second in a series on the magnificent porcelain collection at Massee Lane Gardens. The must-see porcelain collection pictured and presented in detail in the June-August 2009 Journal began with a letter, dated December 26,1969, from Mrs. William Parks Stevens to Spencer Walden, Jr., Chairman, Board of Trustees, of the American Camellia Society. In it she stated that she had collected 117 pieces of porcelain created by the famousAmerican artist Edward Marshall Boehm, with the expectation of acquiring more of his work to be produced in the following years.
