Constraints on the Transition Density of a Hyperon Star with a Set of New Nucleon Coupling Constants

摘要

A new set of nucleon coupling constants (named as CZ11) is obtained, and with it the transition density of a hyperon star (HS) is examined within the framework of the relativistic mean field theory for the baryon octet system. It is found that the field strengths of mesons σ, ρ, the chemical potentials of neutrons and electrons, and the distribution of the particles within a hyperon star for CZ11 are different from those for the coupling constant sets GL85 and GL97. It is also found that the transition density of a HS for CZ11 increases by 12 percent as compared with that for GL85, but is almost equal to that for GL97. For the CZ11 set, for the nucleon parts within the star at transition density the contribution is mainly provided by neutrons, and for the hyperon parts the contribution is mainly provided by Λ and Ξ~-.
