Stamping stock lubrication system helps extend die life

The MC2000-SYS lubrication system from EFD Inc. offers uniform coverage to help extend die life and reduce tool breakage and downtime in high-speed metal stamping processes. The system is designed to apply a fine, even film of lubricant to stock between 1/2- and 3 in. wide and can be configured to coat stock as wide as 6 in. The system features two precision spray valves that use low-volume, low-pressure air to apply a uniform coat of lubricant. The compact valves are designed to fit inside the press and can be mounted above or below the stock, depending on the application.
