Camellias get us to spring!

This column by Ed Grisamore is reprinted from The Macon Telegraph. There is a historical marker at Third Street Park near the intersection of Cherry Street in the heart of downtown Macon, Georgia. The marker is one of more than four dozen in Bibb County and one of more than 2,000 administered by the Georgia Historical Society. It can be found among the Yoshino cherry trees that will likely be blooming when the annual Cherry Blossom Festival begins celebration.
