(MSI), now offers the G2X, a portable, noncontact optical laser scanner that can make rapid, precise measurements of highly complex and reflective machined parts.The PC-based scanner is a second-generation release of the company's scanner products. The unit is applicable for large, complex, and highly reflective parts such as turbine blades, airfoils, and other free-formed products most commonly associated with the aerospace and automobile markets.
