Laser seam tracking raises robotic welding quality for exhaust system-maker

At its factory in Nykoping, Sweden, Swenox AB uses automated welding cells to produce exhaust-treatment products for heavy vehicles. These products catalytically convert carbon monoxide, unburned hydrocarbons, and oxides of nitrogen to their harmless gaseous constituents and water vapor and include filters to trap particulate. They are integrated into complete exhaust systems that the company also fabricates to customer requirements.
