Diabetes, Dizzy Spells, and Erectile Dysfunction as Presenting Symptoms in a Patient With Pheochromocytoma

We report a case of pheochromocytoma presenting with orthostatic hypotension, erectile dysfunction, and diabetes mellitus, A 30-year-old man presented with dizzy spells secondary to ortho-static hypotension He also had hypertension, erectile dysfunction, and newly diagnosed diabetes mellitus. A diagnosis of pheochromocytoma was made based on increased 24-hour urinary normeta-nephrine, norepinephrine, and VMA levels, A computed tomo-giaphic study showed a left retroperitoneal mass. Successful surgical resection of the tumor resulted in complete resolution of the hypertension, erectile dysfunction, and diabetes mellitus. To our knowledge, this is the first case of erectile dysfunction resulting from pheochromocytoma in the English literature that has completely resolved with successful resection of the tumor.
