The Twin Cities Section held two technical seminars during the 2004-2005 season.Andrew Herring of Colorado School of Mines gave a presentation on "The Thermochemical Conversion of Bio-mass to Carbonaceous Materials,Fuels,or Hydrogen." ECS Secretary,Petr Vanysek,of Northern Illinois University delivered a lecture on "Electrochemistry Without Redox:Interfaces Between Immiscible Electrodes."
