Anne Clementson Celebrates Ten Years with ECS

ANNE CLEMENTSON has been on the ECS publications staff since July 1992. With a background in medical journals, a broad liberal arts education that included basic sciences, four years of Latin study in high school, a tenacious curiosity, a passion for the English language, and a compulsion to "get it right," Anne was especially suited to styling manuscripts for the journals. In 1994 Anne began fulltime proofreading of the Journal and in 1998, the separate Letters journal was added to her load. Now that AIP (American Institute of Physics) is fully responsible for sharing proofreading with the authors, Anne has returned to copy-editing manuscripts.
