The recipient of the 2006 Rossini Lectureship Award,selected by the Board of Directors of Directors of the International Association of Chemical Thermodynamics(IACT),is Professor Alexandra Navrotsky of the University of California at Davis,director of the DC Davis Organized Research Unit on Nanomaterials in the Environment,Agriculture and Technology.The highly esteemed award,made by IACT,is given in recognition of a significant contribution to the field of thermodynamics.
